Granite
Granite is most commonly made up of natural minerals: Feldspar, Mica and Quartz. Quartz primarily comes in large slabs between 4-5ft wide and 7-9ft long. It is a great material for countertops due to it’s heat resistance and durability.

Quartzite
Quartzite is a type of rock made from sandstone. Pressurization and high heat is used to create this extremely hard and durable natural stone. Like Quartz, Quartzite can often have a sparkling quality from the recrystallization of the stone pieces.

Marble
Marble is a luxurous and exquiste natural material. Marble slabs can come in bright white with highly contrasting viens of various colors. These types of countertops are great in kitchens and bathrooms but do require proper care and maintenance such as sealers to prevent staining.

Quartz
Quartz is a man-made stone which contains a mixture of ground quartz and materials such as resins, polymers, and pigments. Through a system of high-pressure and heat, quartz stone slabs are durable and beautiful. Quartz is great as a countertop because of it’s non-porous surface that doesn’t require sealing.
